Boston police seek public’s help in locating armed robbery suspect

BOSTON — Boston Police Department detectives are asking for the public’s assistance in finding Nehemias Montes, 47, of Worcester, who is currently wanted for armed robbery.

Montes, who has a straight warrant issued by Boston Municipal Court, is linked to an incident that took place on Oct. 27 at 717 Boylston Street in the city’s South End.

He is described as being 5’8″, weighing 170 lbs, with brown eyes.

Authorities advise that anyone who encounters Montes should immediately call 911.

Those with information regarding his whereabouts are encouraged to contact the District D-4 Detectives at (617) 343-5619.

In an effort to protect the anonymity of community members, the Boston Police Department assures that the identities of anyone providing tips in an anonymous manner will be safeguarded.
