SALEM — Police are seeking the public’s help to identify a man suspected of stealing over $1,000 worth of sunglasses from a local store.
The theft occurred in conjunction with a separate incident involving a female suspect who was arrested for allegedly stealing more than $500 in perfume from the same location.
The male suspect was not initially identified but was later spotted on surveillance footage.
Authorities say the suspect took approximately $1,117 in sunglasses.
The female suspect, who was apprehended, claims to have limited knowledge of the man’s identity.
Officer Jeremy Bagley is leading the investigation.
