LEBANON — A man was robbed at gunpoint on a rail trail near Price Chopper early Friday, police said.

The incident occurred around 12:07 a.m. on Oct. 25, 2024, when an unknown male approached the victim from behind on the trail, according to the Lebanon Police Department.

The suspect, described as wearing dark clothing with shorts and a beanie, demanded the victim’s coat and shoes while brandishing what appeared to be a gun.

After taking the items, he fled eastward on an electronic bike.

Officers searching the area later recovered the stolen coat.

The victim was not injured in the robbery.

Police said the suspect’s e-bike had no front or back lights but was equipped with a speaker featuring LED lights.

Due to the darkness in the area, no further description of the suspect is available.
