Campton woman arrested for aggravated DUI after serious crash

CAMPTON — A local woman was arrested in connection with a serious motor vehicle crash that occurred last year, Campton Police Department announced today.

Following an extensive investigation into the Sept. 4 crash on Winterbrook Road, authorities apprehended Tabitha Sleeper, 42, of Thornton, on a warrant.

Sleeper faces multiple charges including felony B aggravated DUI with serious bodily injury, misdemeanor A aggravated DUI with a blood alcohol concentration over .16%, misdemeanor A criminal mischief, and misdemeanor A indirect criminal contempt of court.

At the time of the incident, Sleeper was already on bail for a pending DUI charge from Campton.

After her arrest, she was released on personal recognizance bail and is scheduled to appear in Plymouth Court for the recent charges.

The Campton Police Department continues to investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash.
