Brattleboro police investigate late-night shooting, victim found in Massachusetts

BRATTLEBORO — In response to reports of gunfire on the night of Oct. 23, Brattleboro Police rushed to Garfield Drive around 11 p.m.

A vehicle implicated in the incident was seen speeding away from the scene and was later intercepted by Massachusetts State Police.

Upon stopping the vehicle in Massachusetts, authorities discovered a victim suffering from a non-fatal gunshot wound.

No other injuries were reported in connection with the shooting.

As of now, no suspects have been detained.

Brattleboro Police have confirmed that the investigation is ongoing and are urging anyone with pertinent information to reach out to Detective Sergeant Lynde at the Brattleboro Police Department.
