WATERBURY — After a targeted effort to address drug activity complaints on Bronson Street, Waterbury Police Department’s VICE and Intelligence Unit arrested 26-year-old Keishawn Dancy on Oct. 22.
Dancy is facing charges of possession of narcotics with intent to sell.
The arrest followed a thorough investigation by authorities in response to numerous reports from the community regarding suspected drug transactions in the area.
Upon arrest, officers found Dancy in possession of 110 bags of heroin and $260 in U.S. currency, which were seized as evidence.
The Waterbury Police Department has reiterated its commitment to community safety and continues to encourage residents to report any suspicious activity.
Dancy was released on a Promise to Appear with a scheduled court date of Nov. 5.
