Pawtucket man arrested for hit-and-run, DUI

PAWTUCKET — At 10:19 p.m., Rhode Island State Troopers arrested Colm Craig, 34, of Pawtucket, following a hit and run accident, charging him with leaving the scene, driving under the influence, and refusing a chemical test.

Craig was apprehended after Troopers responded to the accident and located the suspect.

He was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace, and released into the custody of a responsible adult.

In a separate incident at 1:53 a.m., Troopers detained Jordon Gomes, 34, of Exeter, on charges of obstructing an officer and resisting arrest.

Gomes’ arrest occurred after a vehicle stop on Allens Avenue in Providence.

He was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks and held overnight, awaiting arraignment in the morning.
