WORCESTER — In a targeted operation, Worcester Police Vice Squad officers executed a search warrant on a Queen St. residence on Oct. 18, leading to the arrest of a 25-year-old man and the recovery of fentanyl, firearms, and other drugs.
At approximately 4:50 p.m., officers entered the apartment, detaining several individuals and uncovering a significant quantity of suspected fentanyl, powder cocaine, a digital scale, and drug paraphernalia.
Additionally, three handguns along with ammunition were found inside the residence.
Jalfrin Nicacio, who authorities say does not have a firearms license, was taken into custody and is facing multiple charges.
Nicacio has been charged with Trafficking in Fentanyl over 200 Grams, Possession of a Class B Substance with Intent to Distribute, three counts each of Possession of a Firearm without an FID Card, Improper Storage of a Firearm, and Possession of a Firearm during the Commission of a Felony, as well as Possession of Ammunition without an FID Card.
The operation underscores the ongoing efforts by local law enforcement to combat the distribution of illegal drugs and the associated illegal possession of firearms in the community.
