Northfield first responders team up for successful rescue on Gulf Road

NORTHFIELD — Quick action by local emergency services and the support of a nearby towing company led to the safe rescue of an accident victim on Gulf Road today.

According to the Friends of Northfield Police Department, Koch’s Towing in Greenfield played a critical role alongside Northfield Fire and EMS in responding to an incident where one patient was transported in stable condition.

Fire Chief Skip Dunnell and EMS Chief Matt Wolkenbreit, along with their crews, were commended for their rapid response.

The Friends of Northfield Police Department extended their gratitude to all involved, highlighting the essential service these teams provide to the community, no matter the weather or time of day.
