Ferrisburgh state park residence burglarized, police seek information

FERRISBURGH — Troopers responded to an early morning burglary at a residence within Button Bay State Park on Oct. 19.

According to the Vermont State Police, the incident occurred around 4:45 a.m. when an unknown individual forcefully entered the occupied residence.

The suspect had fled the scene by the time authorities arrived.

Investigators are asking for the public’s assistance in gathering information related to the break-in.

Those with any knowledge of the crime are encouraged to contact the New Haven Barracks.

The investigation is ongoing as law enforcement works to identify the culprit.
