Boston police investigate fatal shooting in Jamaica Plain

BOSTON — Boston Police Department officers responded to a report of a shooting at the intersection of Crafton Way and Huntington Ave in Jamaica Plain at approximately 9:35 p.m. on Thursday, October 17.

Upon arrival, District 13 officers discovered an adult male victim suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.

The victim was quickly transported to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

The Boston Police Department’s Homicide Unit is actively investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident.

Authorities are appealing to the public for any information related to the shooting and encourage anyone with knowledge of the event to contact the Boston Police Homicide Unit at 617-343-4470.
