GREENLAND — Two people have died and another is seriously injured after a crash on Interstate 95, New Hampshire State Police reported Wednesday.

At about 1:13 p.m., troopers from the Troop A barracks were dispatched to a report of a two-vehicle collision on the interstate in Greenland.

Upon arrival, they discovered two individuals deceased at the scene.

The initial investigation indicated that a 2023 Toyota Camry, operated by 24-year-old Steve Le from Methuen, Massachusetts, was heading north when he apparently lost control.

The Camry veered across the median into the southbound lanes, where it struck a 2019 Ford Econoline driven by 58-year-old Leslie Lynn of Roanake, Virginia.

Following the impact, Lynn’s vehicle crossed the median into the northbound lanes and came to a halt near the wood line.

Both Le and Lynn were pronounced dead at the scene.

A passenger in the Econoline was taken to a local hospital with serious injuries.

As of 4:30 p.m., both northbound and southbound traffic lanes near mile marker 9.2 were closed as emergency crews worked to clear the site and investigate the cause of the accident.

Troop A received assistance from the Collision Analysis & Reconstruction (C.A.R.) Unit, Portsmouth Police Department, Greenland Fire and Police Departments, the New Hampshire Department of Transportation, and the New England Truck Center.

The cause of the crash is still under investigation.

Authorities are asking anyone with information or who witnessed the event to reach out to Trooper Brian Hanna at [email protected].
