Cabot woman arrested on domestic assault charges

CABOT — A local woman was arrested Tuesday on charges of domestic assault following an altercation on Main Street.

Vermont State Police responded to a report of a domestic disturbance at around 3:02 p.m., where they determined that Mandy Chan, 32, of Cabot, had caused bodily injury to a 41-year-old intimate partner, whose identity has not been disclosed by authorities.

Chan was taken into custody and processed at the Berlin Barracks.

She was later released on conditions, including a citation to appear before a judicial officer.

The Vermont State Police continue to investigate the incident.
