Southwick man arrested in connection with armed robbery

SOUTHWICK — After a coordinated effort among local law enforcement agencies, Southwick Police Department announced the arrest of a male suspect in connection to an armed robbery that occurred last Saturday night.

Detective Sergeant Thomas Krutka and Officer Nicholas Hultine of Southwick PD, with the assistance of Springfield, Holyoke, and Northampton Police departments, apprehended the man who has not been publicly identified.

The suspect is currently being held at the Hampden County House of Correction in Ludlow.

The Southwick Police Department extended gratitude to the community for their help in sharing the department’s post, which played a crucial role in identifying and capturing the suspect.

Officials have not released further details about the robbery or the circumstances leading to the arrest.
