WAITSFIELD — A 46-year-old Waitsfield man was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence following a citizen dispute on Main Street, authorities said.
Troopers from the Berlin Barracks responded to the incident at approximately 7:59 p.m. on Oct. 12.
The dispute occurred at a local business, and during the investigation, Talmage Jestice was taken into custody.
Jestice, who resides in Waitsfield, was later released with a citation to appear in Washington County Superior Court – Criminal Division.
He is scheduled to face the DUI charge on Oct. 31 at 8:30 a.m. This marks Jestice’s second DUI offense.
