BOSTON — Detectives from the Boston Police Department’s District D-4 are reaching out to the community for assistance in identifying a woman involved in a shoplifting incident at Sunglass Hut in Back Bay.
The crime occurred around 6:50 p.m. on Wednesday, October 9, at the 800 Boylston Street location.
The suspect, a white female estimated to be about 5 feet 3 inches tall with dark hair, was seen wearing a black baseball cap, a black zip-up hooded jacket, black pants, white sneakers, and carrying a black tote bag.
According to police, the individual is responsible for stealing approximately $5,100 worth of sunglasses.
Authorities are actively reviewing evidence and ask that anyone with information about the suspect or the incident contact District D-4 Detectives at (617) 343-5619.
