BRIDGTON — The Maine State Police confirmed that 33-year-old Garrett Littlefield, who had multiple felony warrants and had been eluding capture throughout the day, was apprehended in Bridgton.
Additional information is expected as authorities continue their investigation.
Earlier, authorities had intensified their search for Littlefield after he was last seen around 1 p.m. crashing a stolen blue 2014 Ford F-150 off Rt. 121 near Hemlock Lane, close to the Casco and Raymond town line.
State Police had urged the public not to approach Littlefield if spotted and to call 911 immediately.
The circumstances leading to Littlefield’s capture have not yet been released.
