Tinmouth man charged with domestic assault, larceny

TINMOUTH — A local man was arrested Sunday on charges including domestic assault and larceny, according to Vermont State Police.

Michael J. Stratton, 41, of Tinmouth, was taken into custody after troopers were called to a residence for a domestic abuse complaint at 12:40 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 6.

Stratton is accused of domestic assault, interference with access to emergency services, and larceny from a person.

He was transported to the Rutland barracks for processing without incident.

Following a judicial review, Stratton was released with conditions and a citation to appear in Vermont Superior Court, Rutland Criminal Division, on Monday at 12:30 p.m. to answer to the charges.
