Webster police seek hit-and-run suspect who struck Honey Dew Donuts

WEBSTER — Webster Police are investigating a hit-and-run accident that left significant damage at the Honey Dew Donuts on E. Main St.

Authorities say the incident occurred on Sept. 30, at around 5:57 p.m., when a vehicle towing a trailer collided with the rear corner of the drive-thru structure.

Surveillance footage captured the male driver as he exited the vehicle, wiped debris from the boat trailer, and assessed the damage.

After the collision, the suspect entered the donut shop, purchased a coffee with cash, and left the premises without reporting the incident to the staff.

The Webster Police Department is seeking assistance in identifying the individual or the vehicle involved in the accident.
