Fairlee woman faces trespassing, resisting arrest charges

FAIRLEE — A local woman was cited for unlawful trespass and resisting arrest after an incident at a Fairlee gas station, Vermont State Police said.

Authorities reported that at approximately 7:48 p.m. on Oct. 1, troopers from the St. Johnsbury barracks were dispatched to the Champlain Farms gas station on Lake Morey Road following a trespass complaint.

Heather Whipple, 31, reportedly defied orders to leave the property and subsequently resisted arrest when troopers attempted to take her into custody.

Whipple, a Fairlee resident, is scheduled to appear in Orange Superior Court to face the charges stemming from the altercation.
