QUINCY — The Quincy Police Department has issued an urgent appeal for help in locating a missing teenager, Mikaila, who was reported missing by her mother on Oct. 1.
Mikaila was last seen on Sept. 29 around 10 a.m.
Authorities report that Mikaila was wearing ripped light-colored jeans, a long-sleeve black t-shirt, a black vest, and black and white Nike Air Jordan sneakers when she was last spotted.
Known to frequently visit South Shore Plaza in Braintree, Kindcaide Park in Quincy, Lake St in Weymouth, and various locations in Boston, Mikaila’s usual haunts are the focus of the search efforts.
The police are urging anyone with information on Mikaila’s whereabouts to come forward and assist in their efforts to ensure her safe return.
Community members are asked to keep an eye out for Mikaila and to report any sightings or information that might aid the police in their search.
The Quincy Police Department has not released any further details about the circumstances of Mikaila’s disappearance at this time.
