North Hampton police seek help identifying alleged scammer

NORTH HAMPTON — The North Hampton Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying an individual accused of scamming a local resident.

According to authorities, the suspect claimed to be an employee of Geek Squad, a tech support service from Best Buy, and fraudulently obtained a significant amount of cash.

The police department has released a photograph of the alleged thief and urges anyone with information to come forward.

Community members are advised to contact law enforcement directly regarding such crimes rather than responding to offers of help from Facebook profiles or other unverified sources.
