Putnam police investigate theft of two trucks from local business

PUTNAM — Two pickup trucks were reported stolen from a business on Kennedy Drive, according to the Putnam Police Department.

Officers responded to the scene at about 7:54 a.m. on Sept. 27 after receiving a report of vehicle theft.

The investigation revealed that the trucks, a 2014 Ford F350 and a 2016 GMC Sierra, both white in color, were stolen sometime between 4 p.m. on Sept. 26 and the morning of Sept. 27.

The Ford F350 is described as having a ladder rack and Connecticut registration C199163.

The GMC Sierra’s Connecticut registration is 37CP76.
