Rhode Island troopers make arrests for weapons violation

CHARLESTOWN — Two men were arrested Friday on separate charges including weapons violations and driving under the influence, according to Rhode Island State Police.

At 8:38 a.m., troopers from the Hope Valley Barracks apprehended Alexander Kores III, 39, of Charlestown, following an investigation related to an incident at the Fourth Division District Court.

Kores faces charges of possessing prohibited large capacity feeding devices and violating a family court order.

After processing at the Wickford Barracks, he was transported back to the court for arraignment.
