BROOKLINE — Brookline Police Department detectives are requesting the public’s assistance in identifying a man caught on surveillance footage in relation to a shoplifting event that occurred at 860 Commonwealth Ave. on Sept. 24.
The suspect is described as a Black male, seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, black pants, and white sneakers at the time of the incident.
The surveillance video capturing the suspect has been crucial in the ongoing investigation, but authorities need more information to move forward.
The Brookline Police Department urges anyone who can identify the individual or has any relevant details to come forward.
