Piermont man charged with violating domestic violence order

PIERMONT — On Sept. 23, New Hampshire State Police – Troop F arrested Michael Schauer, 40, for allegedly violating a domestic violence protective order.

Uniformed patrol officers and the detective bureau conducted the investigation that led to Schauer’s arrest.

Schauer, who is an Assistant Grafton County Attorney, was arraigned on Sept. 24 and released on personal recognizance bail.

He is scheduled to appear in Haverhill District Court on Dec. 11.

Following his arrest, Schauer has been placed on administrative leave in accordance with protocol.
