ST JOHNSBURY — A local man was arrested on Sept. 23 after violating conditions of his release, according to the St. Johnsbury Police Department.
Teriq Moore, 31, of St. Johnsbury, was taken into custody after being spotted walking on Bay Street by Officers M. Johnson and Ellingwood.
The arrest followed an incident on Sept. 19, when the officers located a vehicle reported as being used without the owner’s permission.
Moore was identified as the operator despite having active conditions prohibiting him from being within 300 feet of the vehicle.
After processing at the police department, Moore was released with a citation.
He is scheduled for arraignment at the Caledonia Superior Court on Oct. 14 at 8:30 a.m. The court has confirmed that this matter will proceed to action.
Moore was not lodged and no bail was set.
