Jeffersonville man cited for theft at local gas station

JEFFERSONVILLE — A 34-year-old man was cited for retail theft after allegedly taking items from the Madonna Mobil without payment, Vermont State Police reported.

At 10:39 a.m. on Sept. 23, authorities were alerted to the theft at the gas station.

Surveillance footage captured a male, later identified as Christopher Dunster of Jeffersonville, leaving the store with several unpaid items.

Dunster is scheduled to appear in the Lamoille County Superior Court – Criminal Division on Nov. 8 at 12:30 p.m. to face the charges.

The case remains under investigation.
