GRANVILLE — On Sept. 19 at around 2 p.m., Vermont State Police from the Royalton Barracks were alerted to a missing camper by a concerned neighbor at a campsite near Route 100 and Leland Jones Road.

The camper, known only as “Horan,” is described as a man in his early thirties with short curly hair, about 5 feet 7 inches tall, last seen wearing jeans and a light-colored shirt.

According to the caller, Horan had not been seen for approximately four days.

Troopers responded to the scene and found nothing out of the ordinary at his campsite.

Horan, whose last name and age remain unknown, is believed to be from Maine.

He was reportedly planning to stay at the campsite for about two weeks.

His vehicle, a red ’90s style van with oxidized paint and a Maine license plate, was also missing from the site.

The disappearance is not currently being treated as suspicious, but authorities are asking anyone with information about Horan or the vehicle to contact the Royalton State Police Barracks.
