Boston police seek public’s help to identify suspect in Roxbury assault

BOSTON — Boston Police Department detectives from District B-2 are requesting the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect involved in an aggravated assault in Roxbury.

The incident occurred at 11:46 p.m., on Saturday, Sept. 14, at 688 Parker St., Mission Hill.

The suspect is described as a black female, heavy set, approximately 40 years old, with braided hair.

She was last seen wearing a purple shirt and ripped blue jeans and is believed to frequent the Mission Main area.

Authorities are actively investigating the circumstances surrounding the assault and urge anyone with information to contact District B-2 Detectives at (617) 343-4275.

The Boston Police Department assures that the identities of those who offer tips anonymously will be kept confidential.
