Pawtucket man arrested on charges of threatening public officials, obstructing justice

PAWTUCKET — Rhode Island State Troopers arrested Norman J. Landry, 44, of Pawtucket, on Monday morning following an investigation that led to charges including threats to public officials and obstruction of the judicial system.

The arrest, which occurred at 10:30 a.m. at Landry’s residence on 54 Privet Street, was executed on the strength of an Affidavit and Arrest Warrant originating from the Wickford Barracks.

The charges stem from a barracks investigation into Landry’s alleged activities.

Following his arrest, Landry was transported to the Wickford Barracks for processing.

He was subsequently taken to the Third Division District Court where he awaited arraignment.
