Providence man among several arrested in statewide law enforcement sweep

PROVIDENCE — Multiple individuals were arrested on a variety of charges across Rhode Island on Sept. 17, as reported by the Detective Bureau.

Neil Condon, 28, from Providence, was charged by the ACI Investigations Unit with Domestic Violence – Violation of a No Contact Order.

After his arraignment in Third District Court, Condon was held by the Sheriffs Department.

On the same day, Sharinarae Dwyer, 31, of West Warwick, faced charges as a Fugitive From Justice from the State of Georgia on counts of Kidnapping.

Dwyer was also arraigned in Third District Court and transferred to the custody of the Sheriffs Department.

Members of the Rhode Island Violent Fugitive Task Force apprehended Alex Rodriguez, 28, from Providence, on charges including Domestic Breaking and Entering, Domestic Vandalism, Simple Assault, and Disorderly Conduct, along with two Superior Court Bench Warrants for First-Degree Robbery and a Sixth District Court Bench Warrant for Domestic Violence – Simple Assault.

Rodriguez was processed by Providence Police and then taken to Central Falls for his arraignment.

Giovanni Simmons, 30, of Pawtucket, was arrested by the HIDTA Task Force for carrying a pistol without a license, possession of a firearm by a prohibited person, and possession of large-capacity feeding devices.

Simmons was processed, arraigned, and taken to the Adult Correctional Institutions pending further court proceedings.

Furthermore, the Computer Crimes Unit/Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force arrested Larry Albino, 51, from North Providence.

Albino faces charges including 2nd Degree Child Molestation, Possession of Child Pornography, Transfer of Child Pornography, Production of Child Pornography, and Possession of a Controlled Substance.

Following his processing and arraignment with a set bail of $75,000 with surety, Albino was transported to the Men’s ACI Intake Center.
