LYNDON — Vermont State Police arrested a St. Johnsbury man for DUI and disorderly conduct following a reported attempted break-in late Tuesday night.
Shawn Rich, 46, was taken into custody near a Lyndon residence after troopers were dispatched around 11:49 p.m. for a report of an attempted break-in.
Upon arrival, Rich was discovered hiding in a bush in the vicinity.
Investigation revealed that Rich had been operating a vehicle under the influence prior to the incident.
He was transported to the Vermont State Police Barracks in St. Johnsbury for processing.
Rich was released with a citation to appear at the Caledonia County Superior Court – Criminal Division on Oct. 7 at 8:30 a.m.
