Richford man charged with hit-and-run after damaging parked car

RICHFORD — Vermont State Police responded to a two-vehicle collision near the intersection of Farrar St and Troy St on Sept. 17 at approximately 5:25 p.m.

Authorities say Charles Williams, 55, of Richford, repeatedly backed his vehicle into a parked car, causing significant damage before leaving the scene.

Following an investigation, police located Williams who was subsequently cited for leaving the scene of an accident.

Williams is scheduled to appear in Franklin County Superior Court on Oct. 22 to face the charges.
