Norwalk man dies in motorcycle accident, police seek witnesses

NORWALK — A Norwalk man was fatally injured in a traffic accident after his motorcycle was hit by a vehicle on Winfield Street near the intersection of Pequot Drive on Sept. 14 at 5:38 p.m., according to the Norwalk Police Department.

Dwight Clifford St. John, the motorcycle operator, received immediate medical attention from first responders when Norwalk Police, Fire Department and Hospital Emergency Medical Service were dispatched to the scene.

St. John was transported to Norwalk Hospital where he later died from his injuries.

The incident remains under active investigation.
