OXFORD — A bicyclist was struck by a dark-colored pickup truck at the intersection of Potte Road and Maine Street today around 12:30 p.m., the Oxford Police Department reported.
According to authorities, the vehicle involved in the incident fled the scene before the driver could be identified.
The condition of the bicyclist has not been released, and the police are now appealing to the public for any information that might assist in tracking down the responsible party.
