MENDON — A Mendon woman was cited for simple assault after an altercation on Mountain Commons Road, authorities said.
Troopers from the Rutland Barracks responded to the incident at 8:40 p.m. on Sept. 15.
The investigation revealed that Jill Prater, 54, assaulted David Ward, 38, both residents of Mendon.
Prater is scheduled to appear in Vermont Superior Court Criminal Division to answer to the charge.
Further details about the dispute were not immediately released.
