WORCESTER — Police arrested five men on drug trafficking charges after seizing large quantities of cocaine and fentanyl during an early morning raid Friday.
The Worcester Police Vice Squad, working with the Drug Enforcement Administration, executed a search warrant at a Fox Street residence around 6 a.m. Sept. 13.
Officers recovered approximately 10,000 counterfeit oxycodone pills containing fentanyl, 700 grams of fentanyl powder, 500 grams of cocaine, a large amount of cash and drug packaging materials.
Arrested were Luis Ortiz, 31; Christian Cruz Velasquez, 29; Angel Santos, 45; Leslie Rodriguez Santos, 37; and Luis Cruz, 34.
All face charges of trafficking more than 200 grams of cocaine and trafficking more than 200 grams of fentanyl.
The operation involved assistance from Worcester and Framingham police canine units.
