Fugitive eludes police in Hillsboro

HILLSBORO — Law enforcement officers attempted to apprehend a fugitive wanted in Oklahoma on Thursday in the Emerald Lake area of Hillsboro.

Tae Potwin, also known as Tae Bacon, 32, fled on foot when officers tried to arrest him.

Potwin is wanted on charges of possession of a firearm in the commission of a felony, failure to appear, and narcotics trafficking in Oklahoma.

Authorities describe Potwin as a white male, 5 feet 10 inches tall, weighing 140 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes.

He has ties to Hillsboro and Lebanon, N.H.

Police warn that Potwin is considered armed and dangerous and should not be approached by the public.

The Hillsboro Police Department is asking anyone with information about Potwin’s whereabouts to contact them at 603-464-5512.

In case of emergency, individuals should call 911.
