Man arrested for domestic assault and property damage in Mount Holly

MOUNT HOLLY — A Mount Holly man was arrested Wednesday afternoon following a domestic disturbance that resulted in property damage and bodily injury.

Vermont State Police from the Rutland Barracks responded to a call at a residence on Shunpike Road at approximately 3:33 p.m.

The accused, Lance Bussino, 34, of Mount Holly, allegedly engaged in a physical altercation with a person he had previously been in a relationship with.

During the incident, Bussino is reported to have damaged property he had no legal right to, and caused bodily injury to the victim.

The specifics of the injuries and the damaged property were not disclosed by the authorities.

Following the investigation, Bussino was taken into custody and processed at the Rutland Barracks.

He was later released with a summons to appear at the Vermont Superior Court, Rutland Criminal Division, on a date yet to be determined.

The Vermont State Police have a policy of withholding the names of victims in cases of sexual assault or domestic violence to protect their privacy.
