NORWALK — Multiple calls to Norwalk Combined Dispatch on Sept. 10 at 9:20 p.m. reported gunshots near Strawberry Hill Ave and Catalpa Street.
Responding officers discovered a crime scene and soon learned that a victim with gunshot wounds had been admitted to Norwalk Hospital in serious condition.
The Norwalk Police Department’s detectives have taken over the investigation, determining the event was an isolated incident, posing no further risk to the community.
The investigation team will remain active in the area to gather additional information.
