WARWICK — A series of law enforcement operations on Sept. 10 led to multiple arrests, including a Warwick man charged with child pornography offenses and another on larceny warrants, authorities announced.
Thomas Fontaine, 39, of Warwick, was arrested by the Computer Crimes Unit/Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force for possession and transfer of child pornography.
Fontaine was taken to the Wickford Barracks for processing before his arraignment at Third District Court.
Associate Judge Dubois set bail at $5,000 surety and imposed conditions restricting Fontaine’s internet access and barring unsupervised contact with minors.
The arrests were the result of coordinated efforts among various law enforcement agencies to target crimes ranging from child exploitation to drug trafficking and fugitive apprehensions.
