Grafton man arrested for burglary, multiple violations

GRAFTON — Vermont State Police apprehended a transient man for an alleged burglary and several other offenses at a Grafton residence on the evening of Sept. 8.

David Hill, 45, reportedly broke into a home at 2361 Vermont Route 121, according to the homeowner, Christine Mills.

State Police received the call at approximately 5:23 p.m. and responded to the scene, where they discovered Hill inside the property.

Upon arrest, Hill faced charges including burglary, violation of conditions, unlawful mischief, and petit larceny.

He was taken to Westminster State Police Barracks for processing.

Following his arrest, Hill was held at Southern State Correctional Facility with bail set at $2,500.

He is scheduled for a court appearance at the Vermont Superior Court, Windham Criminal Division, on Sept. 9 at 12:30 p.m.
