Lyndonville man arrested on multiple charges, including abuse of a vulnerable adult

LYNDONVILLE — A Lyndonville man was arrested late Wednesday night on charges of first-degree aggravated domestic assault, abuse of a vulnerable adult, and reckless endangerment, according to the Lyndonville Police Department.

Police responded to a disturbance at a residence on 68 High Street at about 10:47 p.m. on Sept. 4, following a call from a concerned citizen.

The Lyndonville Police, along with Vermont State Police troopers, conducted an investigation which led to the arrest of Branden Daigle, 28, of Lyndon.

Authorities allege that Daigle assaulted a family or household member identified as a vulnerable adult.

Following the arrest, he was held without bail at the Northeast Regional Correctional Facility by order of the court.

Daigle is scheduled to be arraigned in Caledonia Superior Court on Thursday, Sept. 5, at 12:30 p.m. The case is being handled by Officer Gerrish of the Lyndonville Police Department, with the case number 24LV001459.
