West Warwick man arrested on multiple felony charges

WEST WARWICK — At 6:04 p.m. on Monday, Rhode Island State Troopers arrested 60-year-old David Nadeau of West Warwick on multiple charges, including two counts of felony assault and/or battery, following an investigation originating from the Wickford Barracks.

The arrest warrant for Nadeau also included charges of disorderly conduct characterized by fighting or tumultuous behavior, vandalism/malicious injury to property, and failure to stop for an accident resulting in damage to an attended vehicle.

Nadeau was taken into custody at the West Warwick Police Department and subsequently transported to the Wickford Barracks where he was processed.

Following the arraignment by a Justice of the Peace, Nadeau was released.

The arrest was the result of a thorough investigation by the barracks, with troopers responding to the local police department where Nadeau was initially detained.
