Groton police seek help identifying fraud suspect

GROTON — Police are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect who allegedly used a counterfeit $100 bill for a purchase.

The Groton Police Department released a statement Tuesday asking for help in their ongoing fraud investigation.

Officer M. McCarthy is leading the case.

Authorities have not disclosed details about when or where the fraudulent transaction occurred.

They are circulating an image of the individual believed to be involved in the incident.
