Boston police nab most wanted suspect on robbery, assault charges

BOSTON — Officers from the Boston Police Department arrested a woman on their most wanted list late Wednesday in connection with an outstanding warrant for armed robbery and assault.

Nyita Cox, 38, of Holbrook, was apprehended at about 9:39 p.m. near the intersection of Washington Street and Harvard Street in Mattapan.

Cox was wanted on a warrant issued by Roxbury District Court for charges of armed robbery and assault and battery with a dangerous weapon.

The suspect, recently spotlighted on the BPD Most Wanted List, is slated to be arraigned in Dorchester District Court.

The Boston Police Department has not released further details regarding Cox’s arrest or her alleged crimes.
