KEENE — At approximately 7:51 a.m. on Aug. 29, Keene police were called to a severe motor vehicle collision at the intersection of Route 9 and Sullivan Rd.
A sedan and a motorcycle were involved in the crash, resulting in serious injuries.
Felicity Buffum, 18, of Keene, was driving the Toyota Corolla westbound on Route 9 when her vehicle collided with an eastbound Kawasaki motorcycle.
The male motorcycle rider sustained grave injuries and was quickly transported to Cheshire Medical Center by the Keene Fire Department ambulance.
Due to the severity of his injuries, the rider was later airlifted to Dartmouth/Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon.
The Keene Police Collision Analysis Team is actively investigating the circumstances of the collision.
Keene Police Department received assistance at the scene from Keene Fire Department, NH Department of Transportation, and the Cheshire County Sheriff’s Department.
