CLARENDON — A Rutland man was arrested early Wednesday morning on charges of driving under the influence and operating a vehicle with a criminally suspended license.
Joseph Mullica, 40, was pulled over by Vermont State Police troopers for a vehicle violation at approximately 12:43 a.m. in Clarendon.
Troopers observed signs of impairment during the stop and conducted Standardized Field Sobriety Tests (SFSTs).
Following the tests, Mullica was taken into custody on suspicion of driving under the influence, his second such offense.
Further investigation confirmed that his driver’s license was criminally suspended.
After his arrest, Mullica was transported to the Rutland Barracks for processing.
He was issued a citation to appear in Rutland Criminal Court to face the charges of DUI #2 and Criminal DLS (Driving with License Suspended).
