WORCESTER — Two women were found dead in a Main Street apartment on Aug. 24, both having suffered multiple puncture wounds, according to Worcester Police.
The victims were pronounced deceased at the scene by Worcester EMS after officers responded to a call at approximately 1:06 p.m. The Worcester Police Department is actively investigating the circumstances surrounding the deaths.
Authorities are now seeking William Rodriguez, a person of interest in the homicide investigation.
Rodriguez, whose last known address was 40 Belmont St., is described as a 6-foot-2-inch tall Hispanic male, weighing 180 pounds, with gray hair, brown eyes, and a medium complexion.
The photo on the wanted poster dates back to March 10, 2020.
He may be wearing prescription eyeglasses.
Rodriguez, born on Sept. 19, 1964, should be considered armed and dangerous, and anyone with knowledge of his whereabouts is urged to contact the Worcester Police Detective Bureau at (508) 799-8651.
The Worcester Police Department also encourages anyone with information regarding the incident to send an anonymous text to 274637 with the keyword TIPWPD followed by their message, or to submit an anonymous web-based message at worcesterma.gov/police.
The investigation into the double homicide at 1060 Main Street is ongoing as officials work to piece together the events that led to the tragic discovery.
